We rehearse Tuesdays at 18:45 - 19:30 at Gracious Street Methodist Church.

We’ve a very long and interesting history of providing entertaining music for all occasions and we enter a variety of competitions throughout the year. We’re very well supported in the town and we feature in significant town events all through the year such as the great Knaresborough Bed Race, Remembrance Sunday and numerous Christmas events.  In our past we were involved in a riot in the Castle Yard!

We’re known locally for our entertaining concerts which often raise hundreds of pounds for local good causes.

We've visited Knaresborough's twin town of Bebra in Germany and hosted their band many times.

Formed in the first half of the 19th Century, we are one of only a few bands to have been in continuous existence since.

These days we perform at a wide range of concerts, contests and events around the North of England each year, including the world famous Durham Miners' Gala.

The main band rehearses each Tuesday between 19:30 and 21:30pm at Gracious Street Methodist Church in  Knaresborough. If you are interested in joining, you are very welcome to come to a rehearsal to play or to listen. Our training band starts at 18:45 finishing at 19:30.
